Jocelyn is an Academic Success Advisor Senior in the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University. In her role, she works to support the success of Edson students as they achieve their academic goals. During her time at Edson College, she has encouraged and fostered the growth of students preparing and applying for nursing clinicals as well as graduate students pursuing Master's degrees in Healthcare Innovation and Aging. Within the last few years she won the Council of Academic Advisor's Award for Best New Advisor and has attended regional and national advising conferences such as NACADA. Before coming to ASU, she advised nurses and health care professionals at Grand Canyon University in both undergraduate and graduate programs. She loves traveling and has worked abroad, teaching English in Seoul, South Korea. She is an ASU alum, graduating with degrees in both Psychology and Business Entrepreneurship on the Tempe campus. During her undergraduate years at ASU she gained valuable experience from her roles as a Success Coach and Community Service Event Planner as well as studying abroad in Manchester, England. She is very passionate about education and empowering students of all ages and backgrounds to make the most of their college experience and become life long learners.
