Lawrence Morgan is a synthetic organic chemist whose research spans natural product total synthesis and heterocyclic chemistry.
Morgan’s publications include four peer-reviewed organic synthesis papers, one patent and two organic chemistry laboratory manuals in their second editions.
His teaching excellence has been recognized by outstanding teaching awards at North Carolina State University Chemistry Department, University of Wyoming Chemistry Department and ASU College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA).
Morgan taught largely the CHM 237–238 organic chemistry sequence for CISA at ASU Polytechnic from August 2013–June 2021 as Academic Professional. In August 2021 he transferred to the School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences/New College at ASU West Valley as Instructor for CHM 113, 116, 237 and 238.
