Kaitlyn Beickel is an experienced writer, editor and marketer who returned to her alma mater Arizona State University to drive storytelling and social media efforts as assistant director within the Educational Outreach and Student Services strategic marketing team.
Before joining ASU, Kaitlyn served as the editor-in-chief of ICONIC LIFE Magazine. In her role she oversaw 12 print issues per year from start to finish, while managing daily article postings on the online publication. In addition to writing, she handled organizing editorial photo shoots, public relations, the brand’s style guide, leading weekly team meetings and updating stories with SEO best practices. Two issues of the magazine that were produced by Kaitlyn were recognized with editorial awards from the Eddie's and Ozzie's.
Kaitlyn also brings with her extensive experience in social media, with more than six years of experience managing social media channels for a variety of industries. Her first role after graduating from ASU's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism was at brand management company Reputation.com, where Kaitlyn spent four years managing social accounts and was awarded with the "rockstar of the quarter" award.
Her other past work experiences were education-focused, include marketing for StrongMind, the parent company for Primavera Online High School, and for Spear Education, the top dental education school in the United States.
