Lisa Rolland first joined ASU in 2017 after a decade of working in the nonprofit sector, where she got her start as an AmeriCorps Member. She served as communications specialist senior for Arizona State University’s Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions until 2023. Prior to ASU, she worked doing communications and design for local nonprofits such as Valley Leadership, Southwest Alliance for Excellence (now Rocky Mountain Performance Excellence) and Experience Matters (which has since been absorbed by the ASU Lodestar Center), as well as freelance work for local consultants and other nonprofits.
In 2025, Lisa joined The GAME School housed in Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, where she serves as the communications and web content coordinator.
She is a seasoned member of The Phoenix Symphony Chorus, which she joined in 2012 and for which she has served several years as a council member in section representative and webmaster roles. Lisa is also an actor and voiceover artist. Her website is lisalavoix.com.
