Felina is student and teaching assistant in the School of International Letters and Cultures at ASU. Now a three-time ASU student, Felina received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from ASU in 2017 and 2019, returning to ASU to pursue her PhD in Spanish Literature and Culture. Prior to returning to ASU, Felina spent six years in the K-12 education system as an educator in multiple school districts and classroom settings, with experience in teaching Literature and History in all secondary grades (6-12). Following her classroom experience, Felina dedicated time in her community serving as an interpreter for human rights related topics, and continues to balance academics, community involvement, and advocacy throughout her studies.
