Elsbeth serves as the Assistant Director for Access and Student Support for ASU Student Accessibility, and is also adjunct faculty for Success by Design UNI 220 Mindset Connections courses offered through University College. Elsbeth previously managed the Disability Services office at Paradise Valley Community College where she also served as adjunct faculty for college success courses. She is dedicated to supporting students in building self-awareness and connecting them with effective resources and strategies so that they can navigate the university setting with confidence.
Elsbeth facilitates AccessZone workshops to educate the ASU community about working with students with disabilities, better understanding accommodations, and implementing universal design practices in all aspects of ASU. Elsbeth is passionate about community wellbeing, having participated in the ASU Mindfulness Leadership Certification Course and interned with the ASU Employee Wellness Program. She holds a BA in comparative religious studies from Beloit College and an M.Ed in Higher and Postsecondary Education from ASU.
