Dr. Amber Schaefer (she/her) is a faculty associate in the College of Counseling and Counseling Psychology. She graduated from ASU's Counseling Psychology PhD program, having previously earned her M.S. Ed. in mental health counseling from the University of Miami and bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Florida. She has trained and practiced in various settings, including academic medical centers, hospitals, residential treatment centers, community clinics, and private practices.
