Jennifer Jarvis

Jennifer Wold (née Jarvis) serves as the Associate Director of Academic Contracts and Compliance in the Office of Clinical Partnerships, where she plays a critical role in supporting the university’s clinical and research collaborations. In this capacity, Jennifer oversees the development, review, and execution of academic affiliation agreements that support student placements, faculty partnerships, and research initiatives with healthcare and community-based organizations across Arizona and beyond.

Jennifer works in close coordination with ASU’s Office of General Counsel and Risk Management to ensure that all academic contracts align with legal, ethical, and institutional standards. Her role is vital in facilitating the university’s ability to offer meaningful experiential learning opportunities through carefully structured partnerships that advance education, clinical training, and interdisciplinary research.

Before stepping into her current role, Jennifer served as the Director of Community Placements in ASU’s College of Health Solutions, where she led the development of partnerships for student experiential learning and managed academic contract processes. Her ability to cultivate strong relationships with community stakeholders was central to expanding high-quality internship and practicum opportunities for students in a variety of health-related fields.

Prior to joining ASU in 2013, Jennifer spent nearly a decade at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, where she held diverse roles in higher education including classroom and clinical instruction, program leadership, and internship development. Throughout her career, Jennifer has been driven by a strong commitment to student mentorship and professional development—supporting learners in achieving their academic and career goals.

In addition to her work in higher education administration, Jennifer is a registered dental hygienist in both Arizona and Utah, bringing firsthand clinical experience to her understanding of healthcare education and policy.

With her broad background in education, compliance, clinical care, and partnership development, Jennifer brings a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to strengthening ASU’s academic affiliations and advancing the university’s mission.
