Long Bio

Joy joined the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering Marketing and Communications team in February 2024 as an embedded Communications Specialist for The Polytechnic School. Prior to this, she spent 10 years on the advising team in The Polytechnic School where she also launched and managed three social media platforms as well as served on the communications committee. Joy was born and raised in Arizona and received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Northern Arizona University. In her spare time, Joy can be found spending time with her husband, Ed as well as volunteering with various organizations such as the Colten Cowell Foundation, HopeKids and the Arizona Twirling Athletes. She can also be found completing a good 5K for charities like the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or Children’s Cancer Network.
