Evan Billingsley received his doctorate from Arizona State University's Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. His research centers on the practice of artists as informed by copyright law and First Amendment issues. He is an instructor in the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication at Arizona State University.
