Yinghua Li is a full professor of accountancy at Arizona State University. Before joining ASU, she served on the faculty at Purdue University and Baruch College. Major research interests include corporate governance, shareholder activism, shareholder litigation, and corporate disclosure. Her research has been published in leading accounting, finance, and management journals including The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Financial Economics, and Management Science, and featured by institutions such as The United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI), and Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation. She served on the editorial board of The Accounting Review during 2016–2022; she has been serving on the editorial board of the Journal of International Accounting Research since 2017 and the editorial review board of the Journal of International Business Studies since 2025.
