Amy is Assistant Director for KE Southwest Advanced Prototyping Hub (SWAP Hub) / Macro Technology Works at ASU Research Park.
Amy Bennett is an Arizona native who earned her B.S. in General Business with an Accounting emphasis from ASU. She has 17 years of combined Sponsored Programs experience from ASU, Northwestern University, and The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, IL. Amy returned to ASU in 2014 at the Biodesign Institute as a Research Advancement Administrator responsible for both Pre- and Post-Award activities. She acted as Research Advancement Administrator, Sr. on SCAI’s Research Advancement team from February 2015 through November 2017. Her primary responsibilities were Pre-Award in nature and included assisting Faculty with proposals to external sponsors, especially more complex submissions. She then moved to a role as the financial and administrative lead for the DHS funded Center for Accelerating Operational Efficiency as a part of the Global Security Initiative through June 2025. Amy is also a mother of 3 (one ASU graduate), a small business owner (Mary Kay Cosmetics), and Treasurer of the Tempe Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, District 4 Secretary of the VFW Auxiliary (covering Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale, Sunnyslope, Black Canyon City, and Phoenix near Thomas/40th St), and Department of Arizona Auxiliary Outreach Chairman.
