Carolyn Wood joined the ASU Enterprise Marketing Hub in June 2014 as marketing manager. In her role with the Hub, she is responsible for leading an integrated media and marketing process across the enterprise and for internal ASU clients. A focus of her collaborations is building integrated solutions across all appropriate media/channels, driving brand strategy and supporting ASU’s brand positioning, architecture and guidelines. She works closely with key ASU stakeholders to reach client goals and drive cross-functional partnerships across the enterprise, directs and manages outside vendors, and interfaces with other Hub resources to ensure effective and efficient achievement of goals and objectives.
Wood came to ASU after five years as senior manager of media and digital marketing for US Airways and American Airlines, where she was responsible for developing, implementing and analyzing traditional and digital marketing initiatives. She brings to the Hub more than 18 years of professional experience implementing integrated media and brand marketing programs, and offers a unique blend of ad agency and client-side experience.
An alumna of Miami University of Ohio and a native of Pittsburgh, Wood received her BS in mass communications/media management in 1994. A fan of all of Pittsburgh's professional sports teams, she is an avid runner, a Starbucks regular and lives with her family in Phoenix.
