Rylie Seidl serves as the Experiential Learning Coordinator Senior. A proud alumna of Arizona State University, Rylie Seidl holds a degree in Global Health, demonstrating a commitment to understanding and addressing health challenges on a global scale. Furthering her expertise, she earned a Master of Public Health from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, specializing in Disaster Management. Currently, Rylie Seidl is a Ph.D. student in Transborder Studies, focusing on the effects of border carceral practices on health. This research underscores her dedication to exploring the intersections of health and social justice, contributing valuable insights to academic and practical fields alike.
Beyond the academic realm, Rylie has been actively involved in combating the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Her contributions extend to crafting COVID protocols for medical offices and leading educational campaigns surrounding the virus, showcasing her dedication to public health and safety.
Drawing from a rich background in humanitarian work, Rylie Seidl has served with the International Rescue Committee on the survivor team. In this role, she played a pivotal role in aiding refugees and asylum seekers who have experienced crimes to acclimate to life in Arizona, demonstrating her commitment to the well-being of vulnerable populations.
Rylie also serves as the co-chair for Blue Zones Scottsdale as well as a member of the Global Education Experiential Learning Affinity Network. Rylie's involvement reflects her commitment to promoting well-being in all facets of life, from the places we live and work to where we learn and play.
