Alma Estefano holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology. She worked for many years as a community development Human Services Coordinator for the City of Scottsdale before her retirement in 2008. Her enthusiasm for life continues to keep her active and healthy despite her formal retirement. Ms. Estefano’s love for yoga started back in 1970 and continues to be an integral part of her life. She is a holistic instructor at her own home yoga studio and a stress management instructor in the School for Social Work at Arizona State University. She is a has been a member of the ASU Community Fellows (1999-2000), the Psi-Chi National Honors Society for Psychology and Phi Theta National Honors Society. She holds a Certified Baccalaureate of Social Work #1747B from the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, as of 1992.
It is her hope to continue to making an impact for others so that they can access the tools that will help support their personal development.
