Stephanie Salazar serves as the Assistant Vice President and Executive Director of Off-Campus Housing and Relations at Arizona State University (ASU). A passionate advocate for student success and community collaboration, Salazar plays a pivotal role in implementing strategic programs that enhance student well-being and safety, while also advancing ASU’s initiatives and partnerships with the surrounding communities.
Salazar holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree from ASU, with a focus on business and sociology, as well as a minor in communications. She further pursued her education at Northern Arizona University, earning a Master’s degree in Education, with an emphasis on Human Relations and Counseling. In addition to her leadership role, Salazar contributes to ASU’s academic community as a Faculty Associate for the College of Integrative Arts and Sciences, and serves in the University College's Explore Program.
With over 20 years of experience at ASU, Salazar has held various leadership and management roles, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to fostering positive student outcomes and strengthening community relations. Her expertise in strategic planning, community engagement, and student services has made a lasting impact on both the university and the local community.
In addition to her work at ASU, Salazar actively serves on several community boards, where she works to promote education and social embeddedness. Her dedication to these causes has earned her numerous accolades for creating innovative programs and services designed to drive student success.
