Miranda De La Huerta is Management Intern for the Studio for Creativity, Place and Equitable Communities (SCPEC). SCPEC leverages the power and possibilities of ASU as the New American University to integrate arts, culture and design in community development, planning and related fields in order to help redress historic inequities and create healthy, equitable, more just communities where all people can thrive. She supports the Projecting All Voices Fellowship program, which provides opportunities for artists to advance ideas and projects that investigate race, identity, cultural heritage, power, policy, ability and/or place and community.
Miranda graduated from W.P. Carey School of Business in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. She has a background in Social Media Management and customer service. Prior to joining the Studio, Miranda worked for the Bridges Program at ASU REACH Institute, which provides support and coaching to middle school students and parents, including Spanish-speaking families, to promote school engagement and college readiness. She is dedicated to supporting local business and the Valley’s arts and culture communities.
