Jacob Powers is now the Associate Director of Program Operations, overseeing W. P. Carey’s Executive MBA and EGADE programs. Originally from Michigan, he moved to Arizona in 2002 after graduating from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors in English. Jacob's higher education career started in 2009 with University of Phoenix and Grand Canyon University. Jacob began working for ASU in November of 2014 with W. P. Carey School of Business. Prior to managing and leading teams in higher education, Jacob was in the restaurant industry as a kitchen and front of the house manager. In 2017, Jacob completed his Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Jacob was married to his wife Cindy in 2010 and they have two boys together, Elijah and Noah.
