Sarah Henderson is an Assistant Teaching Professor in Spanish Bilingualism in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the School of International Letters and Cultures. Her teaching experience includes different levels of language courses for both second language and heritage language learners in hybrid and online modalities, in addition to Spanish linguistics courses.
Her research interests centers sociolingusitics and heritage language pedagogy. Specifically, she conducts research on language ideologies, critical language awareness, heritage language education, multiliteracies and multimodality.
