Minseok Ryu is an assistant professor in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence at Arizona State University. Prior to this, he was a postdoctoral appointee in the Mathematics and Computer Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory. His research interests lie broadly in operations research and machine learning, especially in developing optimization methodologies for decentralized and stochastic decision-making. More specifically, he is interested in advancing distributed optimization and learning algorithms, addressing computational challenges in decision-making under data uncertainty, and their applications for social goods, including health and energy systems.
