Dr. Kirstin Pellizzaro is an Assistant Teaching Professor who leads the Multimedia Journalism curriculum at Cronkite. She teaches students digital tools commonly used by multimedia journalists, including shooting and editing photos and video, social media, Web analytics, and design.
Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of South Carolina where she developed journalism courses in social media and digital investigation. She also taught advanced broadcast reporting and production.
Her professional career involved working as a broadcast producer for local stations throughout Illinois and Michigan.
Dr. Pellizzaro earned her Doctorate from the Cronkite School in 2019.
