Cindy Reid is Director of the Education and Training Department for Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix Arizona, where she establishes and oversees the required 16 hours of training for over 3500 employees, including judges. Before assuming her responsibilities as director, she spent a great deal of her career in private manufacturing and military education. Cindy retired from the United States Army with over 22 years. While employed at Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Georgetown and Asahi Glass in Elizabethtown, Kentucky; she took advantage of the guidance and unique trainings provided by many Japanese masters of business analysis, process improvement and change management. Cindy has been an integral and vital part of the Superior Court’s Judicial Branch for the past thirteen years, which includes 16 years of service as director. Throughout this time, Cindy has capitalized on her previous work and educational experiences to assist others in empowering themselves to effectively manage change and take on more leadership roles. Her hope is that collectively, we can all learn from being present--to what we say and what we do—ultimately taking ownership and carrying it with dignity within our jobs and our personal lives. Cindy holds a Master’s degree of Science in Leadership with honors from Grand Canyon University.
