With an established background in project management, Abigail (she/her) started her ASU journey in 2015 with roles at Dan Shim Mineral Physics Lab, Dryland Ecosystems Research Team, and Low-frequency Cosmology Lab during her studies.
Upon earning her Bachelor of Science in Earth & Space Exploration, concentrating in geological sciences, she transitioned into project management at ASU's Interplanetary Initiative, where she managed a program of seed-funded projects aimed at advancing inclusive and sustainable human space exploration. Intrigued by sustainability, she then joined ASU's Global Institute of Sustainability and Innovation (GIOSI) as executive admin and program management support, contributing to their mission of sustaining Earth and its life-supporting systems.
Currently, Abigail serves on the leadership team as program manager of research and development at ASU's Laboratory for Energy And Power Solutions (LEAPS), whose focus is creating technical and business solutions that facilitate the global transition to a resilient, low-carbon economy.
In short, she enjoys space, Earth and project management.
