Long Bio

Celina Osuna is the Postdoctoral Scholar for the Social Transformation Lab at Arizona State University. Her research concerns representations, aesthetics, and lived experiences of the Desert Southwest as portrayed in literature, film, and visual art—exploring the complex relationships that emerge from human and more than human agencies and forces.

Dr. Osuna's manuscript for Desert Distortion is under contract with Texas Tech University Press and is coming soon.
