Long Bio
Luying Zhao is a PhD student in the Chinese PhD program of School of International Letters and Cultures at ASU. Zhao studied pre-modern Chinese classics for six years at the Renmin University of China and specialized in the history of the Tang dynasty. Her current research interests focus on Buddhist History in early medieval China and the interrelationship between Buddhism and Daoism. She also serves as Teaching Associate and has taught Chinese for eight semesters.
