Tracey Lauterborn

With over 20 years of teaching experience across undergraduate, graduate, and executive education, and over 15 years of industry experience in global supply chain operations, she is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Supply Chain Management at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. She specializes in supply chain strategy, global logistics, and data-driven decision-making, with a focus on bridging theory and real-world application through case-based and experiential learning.

Her work focuses on supply chains, public policy, and sustainability, with particular emphasis on resilience, clean energy, and system-level innovation. She has contributed to federal energy initiatives at the U.S. Department of Energy and supported sustainability-driven programs advancing water, energy, and carbon-reduction technologies.

Before academia, she held leadership roles in high-volume supply chain operations, including distribution center and inventory management, as well as international experience in supply chains throughout Europe and operations management in Latin America.

Across her teaching and professional work, her focus is on preparing students, professionals, and organizations to navigate complex, global supply chain challenges through strategic thinking, analytics, and applied problem-solving.
