Amber Covington is the Executive Director of Programs and Operations at the University Innovation Alliance, where she leads the operational strategy, program execution, team alignment, and systems that support the UIA’s national portfolio of innovation and member engagement. In this role, she helps ensure that the organization’s ambitious ideas are translated into clear priorities, strong execution, and sustainable impact across the Alliance.
Amber brings more than a decade of experience in higher education leadership, national partnerships, program strategy, and operations.
Amber holds a Master of Science in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Miami University and a Bachelor of Arts from Ursuline College. As a first-generation college graduate, she brings a personal commitment to expanding educational opportunity, mobility, and student success.
