As Deputy Chief Meetings and Events Officer for EdPlus at Arizona State University, Todd Altadonna leads ASU’s strategy and planning for the ASU+GSV Summit, one of the world’s most recognized gatherings of education technology entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, and leaders. The annual Summit brings together more than 7,000 attendees focused on transforming learning and work across the “Pre-K to Gray” spectrum. In this role, Altadonna oversees ASU’s Summit planning, budget, staffing, showcases, executive engagement, speaking roles, and conference activities, while serving as a key relationship manager with GSV partners and liaison across ASU.
Altadonna has supported 11 ASU+GSV Summits, helping shape ASU’s presence and strengthen the university’s role as co-convener. His work helps align institutional priorities, identify strategic opportunities, and ensure ASU’s participation reflects the university’s leadership in innovation, digital learning, and access to education at scale.
Beyond the Summit, Altadonna directs the EdPlus meetings and events portfolio, which includes more than 200 annual internal and external convenings, Presidential and Dean/CEO hosted visits, and engagements with university, industry, government, and partner organizations. He also leads the EdPlus at ASU workspace strategy, enhancing the on-site environment and brand experience for EdPlus visitors and team members.
Altadonna brings more than 35 years of combined marketing, hospitality, and event planning experience, including 25 years with SeaWorld and Busch Gardens theme parks in Florida and more than 10 years with ASU. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
