As Deputy Chief Meetings and Events Officer for EdPlus at ASU, Todd Altadonna oversees logistical planning on behalf of Arizona State University for the ASU+GSV Education Innovation Summit, the largest and most recognized assembly of education technology entrepreneurs, investors, and users in the world. Started in 2010, with a collaboration between Arizona State University and Global Silicon Valley (GSV), the annual Summit connects thousands of leading minds focused on transforming society and business around learning and work. Our north star is that ALL people have equal access to the future, and we believe that innovations at scale in "Pre-K to Gray" learning and skills are critical to achieving that end.
In addition to the Summit, Altadonna directs the coordination and execution of EdPlus hosted convenings and visits from various organizations, including universities, colleges, the military, government entities, corporations, foundations, existing and potential partners, and other invited guests of ASU senior leadership.. Through his work connecting people and projects, these visits foster a deliberate exchange of expertise in digital immersion and technology-enhanced learning while identifying and cultivating opportunities for impactful collaborations.
Altadonna has more than 25 years of marketing and event planning experience, working in the hospitality industry for SeaWorld and Busch Gardens theme parks in Florida. His work in this industry afforded him the opportunity to provide unique event experiences featuring a variety of zoological and marine animals to clients and guests from around the world. Altadonna earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
