Long Bio

Katie Burke is an Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ASU, Dr. Chris Howard.  She coordinates multiple tasks simultaneously and autonomously to proactively support the Office of the Chief Operating Officer in the coordination of various strategic actions.  She administers, schedules and manages various responsibilities to advance special initiatives and also manages enterprise projects. 

Previous to her position in the Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Burke served beginning in 2005 at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication as a Development Assistant, Special Assistant, and Chief of Staff.

She holds two bachelor’s degrees from Arizona State University in photography and art history.
