Mac has devoted his career to supporting the global energy transition to a net-zero carbon economy in an equitable, affordable, and technically feasible way. He is an electrical engineer and co-lead of the Grid Modernization cohort at the Laboratory for Energy And Power Solutions (LEAPS) with Arizona State University. LEAPS is a unique academic group in that they primarily focus on technical assistance and scaling of impact projects — developing appropriate solutions that directly benefit communities.
Mac has varied experiences in energy; microgrid system design and control, system integration and testing, policy and regulation, electric vehicle adoption and management, and community energy development. He has a Master's degree in electrical engineering (power and energy systems) from ASU.

YOUTH IMPACT MENTORING is part of the Boys To Men USA network. The program is sweeping the nation and empowering at risk youth with the tools they need for emotional intelligence. Boys To Men works through an in-school group mentoring program and also through our excursions and adventures.
