Sun-Kyung “Sun” Lee is a family health and prevention scientist whose research focuses on child and family well-being, parenting, and youth mental and behavioral health. Her work examines how caregiver-child relationships, family processes, peer relationships, and broader social contexts shape children’s developmental outcomes. She is especially interested in culturally responsive, community-engaged, and technology-assisted prevention programs that support underserved and/or at-risk families. Her research uses advanced quantitative and mixed methods to identify how and for whom interventions work, to strengthen mental and behavioral health outcomes, and to inform scalable family- and community-based services.
