Dr. DeBiase is an Elementary Education Program leader and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Arizona State University Teachers College. She graduated with a bachelors in Special Education, a masters in Bilingual/Multicultural Education and an Ed.D in Educational Leadership. She has presented at a number of national/international conferences, coordinated multiple projects aligned to grant initiatives, and recently published her first article on the role of clinical faculty in teacher preparation. Dr. DeBiase has served in a number of leadership roles in which she advocates for positive outcomes for Prek-12 students, strives to prepare preservice teachers in their professional and instructional competencies, and seeks to inspire others to develop their own leadership skills. Her research interests lie in teacher preparation and professional dispositions.
