Dr. DeBiase is a Senior Program Manager on the Youth Entrepreneurship team. As a proud member of the Knowledge Enterprise and J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute, she works alongside a respected team to bring leadership in the development and implementation of goals and strategic vision for the Verizon Innovation Learning Lab Program. In this role, she contributes with strategic, programmatic, and managerial responsibilities to build and deploy a scalable, high impact school model, and supports the engagement of educators and students across the country in experiential emerging tech labs using project-based and tech-infused curriculum.
Prior to this role, Dr. DeBiase directly served in public, private, and non-profit sectors, including ASU Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, ASU University College, Junior Achievement of Arizona, Grand Canyon University, Empower Consulting, American Council on Education, edTPA, Ashford University, Rio Salado Community College, University of Phoenix, Mesa Public Schools and indirectly in support roles across 30+ Arizona districts. She brings 20 years of experience in teaching, coaching, consulting, facilitating, managing, and leading across P12 and Higher Education spaces. With a focus on teacher preparation, clinical experiences, dispositional development, career readiness, entrepreneurship, special education, diverse learners, and STEM, she has been afforded opportunities to present at 25+ national/international conferences, coordinate multiple projects aligned to grant initiatives, serve on various university and state committees, and co-author articles and publications. Her efforts and accomplishments stem from her passion and drive to create educational experiences that promote positive and equitable outcomes for all students, for now and for the future.
