Long Bio
Junzhao Wang is a second-year PhD student in Educational Policy and Evaluation at Arizona State University's Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation. She earned her M.S. in Global Higher Education and previously worked as a Peer Advisor at International Student Services at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
As an Asian cisgender woman and international student, Junzhao draws on her lived experiences to inform her scholarship. Her research focuses on student success, faculty development, and professional learning in higher education, with particular attention to international students and students in STEM fields. She reflects on both the challenges and privileges associated with her identities and examines how academic, institutional, and societal contexts shape educational experiences and outcomes.
