Mrs. Shakira Pipher has spent the last 20 year working in the social service, mental/behavioral health and education fields. She has work experience in the areas of outreach/education, prevention, adult education, in-home case management, & child and family counseling. Mrs. Pipher also has macro practice experience in program development, implementation, supervision, and evaluation. Mrs. Pipher is a graduate of Valle del Sol’s Hispanic Leadership Institute (HLI) and African American Leadership Institute (AALI). Mrs. Pipher is currently working for Maricopa Community Colleges as a social work faculty member in the Cultural Science Department at Mesa Community College. Mrs. Pipher is also an adjunct faculty member at Phoenix College and ASU’s School of Social Work.
