Amy is currently the Director of Academic Services for new student advising in the natural sciences division of The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She has held this position since April of 2018. Amy previously joined the Psychology Department in 2016 when she relocated to the desert from Minnesota. She earned her Master’s in Counseling and Student Affairs from Minnesota State University Moorhead; a Graduate Certificate in Academic Advising from Kansas State University; and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota. Amy is involved in leadership with NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising, and enjoys being a part of the professional advising environment. Amy has one son, Toby, who she loves to visit in Minnesota during the summer. She is honored to be part of the team for the new Armstrong Hall new student and new transfer advising hub.
