Tracey Swift joined ASU in May 2016 as the Assistant Director of Risk & Emergency Management. She has a BA in Social Sciences with a concentration in Economics & Sociology from Stony Brook University and an Associate in Risk Management (ARM). She also recently completed her CYBER 301 designation from the Institutes Tracey’s diverse background includes 20 years of experience in Risk Management and Analysis, Contract Negotiation, Client and Vendor Management. The majority of Tracey’s expertise is with Fortune 500 companies in Corporate Risk Management, and she has managed global risk and insurance procurement responsibilities while working in New York City and Lausanne, Switzerland. Currently, Tracey identifies, assesses and evaluates diverse sets of risks at ASU and implements processes and procedures to ensure appropriate risk protection within the ASU community. She also manages large risk management projects including the design and implementation of the Minors on Campus program and the Authorized Driver program. Her goal at ASU is to foster a proactive and collaborative approach to risk analysis and risk mitigation with a mission to ensure that risks of all types are strategically managed while encouraging innovation and promoting a robust risk culture at the university.
