Durgesh Sharma

Durgesh Sharma joined Arizona State University in Fall 2023 as an Assistant Teaching Professor in Information Technology. Prior to joining IT, Sharma served as an Instructor in Applied Mathematics at ASU from Fall 2016 to Fall 2023. Before that, she taught high school AP calculus  and computer science in Chandler, AZ. She also worked as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science in India for a decade, teaching a wide variety of courses, including Computer Science, Statistics, and Mathematics.

Sharma holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna (HNB) University, India; a Master of Science in Information Technology from Vinayaka Mission University, India; and a Doctorate in Mathematics from Rohilkhand University, India. Her research interests lie in interdisciplinary streams.
