Job Responsibilities:
- Organize workload to provide the best support and technical assistance to our customers
- Provide training and technical assistance to anyone using our equipment
- Provide assistance to West, Downtown and Polytechnic Campuse on web checkout and media circulation office procedures
- Work as bock up for Karen Lewis to schedule golf carts maintenance and repair with Naumann Hobbs
A week in the Life:
- Do scheduled maintenance on media carts, laptops and other circulation equipment every Friday
- Train faculty, staff, and students on the operations of media carts and other check out equipment
- Respond to calls to classrooms when problems arise during class
- Make reservations for customers in our web checkout database
- Make up weekly schedule and attend weekly planning and scheduling meeting every Tuesday morning
- Use (CRM Customer Relationship Management System) to document calls from classrooms and issues on non functioning equipment
- Attend workshops or classes provided to keep up with new ideas or trends in technology and management practices
- Inspect classrooms to make sure they are presentable for the next class, schedule (Action) runs to replace supplies and clean classrooms
- Keep student workers updated on changes, ideas, or rules that come out of the Student Handbook and Operations Manual Development Group or staff meetings
- Do whatever necessary to provide excellent customer service to faculty, staff, and students
- Research new technologies and evaluate their usefulness for faculty and staff and keep abreast of what is on the horizon for tomorrow's technology
