I teach and lead in nursing education to make a difference in the lives of those I serve. I strive to help facilitate learning where students are actively engaged in a positive learning environment. I am passionate about growing future nurses and leaders equipped with the skills needed to thrive in the nursing profession and equipped to provide safe, patient-centered care. Further, I enjoy helping students grow their spirit of inquiry to develop a workforce that values and correctly relies on evidence-based practice to guide their care. I believe it is my responsibility to role-model professional behaviors and relationships, so students understand the value of community and collegial relationships in the nursing profession.
