Ella Marencic

Ella Marencic is an EOSS Human Resources Specialist and oversees the Sun Devil Fitness Complex across all four campuses (Tempe, Polytechnic, West Valley and Downtown Phoenix). 

Prior to assuming this role, she graduated in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in B.S. Business Management through ASU's W. P. Carey School of Business.

During her undergraduate studies, she also was a student staff for the Sun Devil Fitness Complex, starting out as a Business Specialist and eventually was promoted to HR Coordinator. Working for the SDFC, she became more familiar with the fiscal business and human resources responsibilities of the department.

After graduating from ASU, Ella worked for Vanguard Mutual, gaining valuable skills in customer service for just under two years. By March 2023, she was welcomed back to the Sun Devil Fitness Complex as the new HR Specialist, where she has continued to facilitate the hiring and onboarding processes for incoming student staff. 

With the goal to expand her knowledge and expertise in Human Resources, she is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Human Resources and Employment Law with the Sandra Day O'Connor School of Law. Upon obtaining her degree, she aims to become involved with the side of HR that deals with the ethics and policies side of the the field, while still maintaining the administrative responsibilities of her role.

Outside of work, Ella enjoys playing the cello. She has recently joined the Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra, where she performs with other very talented individuals, to spread the love and appreciation for classical music in the greater Phoenix community.
