Long Bio
I’m most drawn to history when it gets small enough to feel human. The American Revolution and WWII interest me not just as sweeping events, but as collections of individual lives: people making choices under pressure, often without knowing the shape of the world they were helping to build.
I think of myself as a storyteller at heart. I love listening to people’s experiences, especially the ones that don’t always make it into the official version of events. That, to me, is where history actually lives: in personal memory, contradiction, courage, fear, and everyday decision-making.
In communication, I care about clarity and honesty; how organizations speak when things matter, and how meaning shifts depending on whether people are truly being heard. I’m interested in communication that feels grounded and human, not performative.
What connects all of this for me is attention to people. Not just what happened, but how it felt, how it was remembered, and how those stories echo forward.
