Originally from Indianapolis, IN, Monica received her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Indiana University in 1996. She moved to Arizona in 1996 to attend law school at ASU Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, and received her J.D. in 1999. Admitted to the Arizona bar in 1999, Monica worked as a Deputy County Attorney for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office for 7 years, prosecuting everything from DUI to Sex Crimes. She left the office in 2006 to become a stay at home mom to her three children. Since then, she has worked as a Zumba instructor, substitute teacher, musical director and owns her own custom cookie business, Lookie It's a Cookie, LLC. Monica has been married to Jason (ASU Law J.D. '98) since 2000.
