After a 25-year career in global retail operations—most recently as Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations at Starbucks—I returned to Arizona State University to pursue a Master’s in History. My academic focus centers on the French Revolution, with particular interest in its classical roots in the Roman Republic and its lasting influence on modern political thought. I’m passionate about leadership, strategic systems, and the role of history in shaping contemporary institutions. My return to graduate study reflects a broader personal shift toward seeking meaning, depth, and long-term impact through scholarship and civic engagement.
