A dedicated Chemistry Instructor at Arizona State University (ASU) with a passion for fostering academic growth and leadership in STEM education. Despite being deeply entrenched in the world of chemistry instruction; I have set my sights on expanding my academic horizons in the field of educational leadership within STEM disciplines. I hold a BS in Environmental Sciences, laying the foundation for my subsequent academic achievements. Building upon this foundation, I earned an MS in Environmental Management, delving deeper into the intricacies of environmental sciences. Driven by a thirst for knowledge, I further earned an MS in Environmental Engineering, demonstrating a multidisciplinary approach to environmental studies. Furthermore, I pursued a Doctoral degree in Education with a focus on Organizational Leadership for Higher Education (EdD) where I addressed critical challenges within higher education institutions, particularly the persistent issues of faculty mindset and retention rates among underrepresented STEM students. As an educator in different settings, allowed me to conduct scientific projects and provide educational and technical training for diverse communities and stakeholders from various backgrounds and levels. As a researcher at one of the universities, I provided training for various levels of students, institutions, schools, and municipalities for developing a new integrated and environmentally sustainable management system and ensuring sustainable treatments through the exploitation of available data and innovative technologies. As a Green Entrepreneur Trainer at SwitchMed, I led entrepreneurs, students, businessmen, and businesswomen from a wide pool on the green entrepreneurship methodology where I helped them to adapt from a business idea to a validated sustainable business model and was involved in identifying the promising projects for further support in the context of the SwitchMed project. Furthermore, I supervise, support, and mentor teaching assistants, assess and evaluate knowledge of practices, and monitor all student improvements. On the developmental side, I served as a DEIB member at the adjunct faculty association for MCC, and ASU. Moreover, I am a circle member at the ASU Advance and Faculty Women’s Association. Additionally, I have been a principal for a non-profit Sunday School where I designed, implemented, and monitored students’ progress, managed teachers, and volunteers, and communicated with parents.
