Qi Wu is an assistant professor in the School of Social Work. She joined Arizona State University from the University of Mississippi in the Department of Social Work. Previously, she was a pre-doctoral fellow in the North Carolina Center of Excellence in Youth Violence Prevention. Her research examines protective factors in youth development and child welfare including kinship diversion, caregivers and the impacts of welfare participation. She holds a doctorate in social work from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
