After earning her BFA in Interior Design from the University of San Francisco, Maryanne embraced an administrative support role for The Walt Disney Company before she and her husband moved from Southern California to Arizona in 1992. Over the next twenty years, she focused on raising and homeschooling their six children while leading activities and events for a large and active homeschool group. Always passionate about building something positive and special, Maryanne developed a history curriculum for homeschooling families, along with three faith-based enrichment programs and a variety of books and activities for children of all ages. Her love of teaching continued through local classroom and school leadership roles, including ESL instruction for adults at Rio Salado Community College, before she returned to her administrative support roots by joining the exceptional team in the CFO’s office at Arizona State University.
When she's not working, Maryanne enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, crafting, and exploring her passion for genealogical research.
