Turner Bohlen serves as the Head of Product for the Learning Enterprise. He works across all Learning Enterprise product lines to develop and support learner-focused, highly innovative product development processes. Turner also manages the overall LE technical platform, making strategic technical decisions to create a flexible, stable, and scalable platform for product innovation. He deeply believes that modern, learner-driven product development paired with the resources, expertise, and credibility of a leading institution, like ASU, will drive the next major revolution in US education.
Before joining ASU, Turner was co-founder and CEO of Beagle Learning, an edtech startup that designs student-led learning programs that train the skills that predict college and life success, including problem-solving, critical-thinking, and team communication. Turner led product management, developed deep relationships with dozens of universities and the Department of Defence, and led Beagle through the LearnLaunch and TechStars startup accelerators. Beagle served nearly 10,000 learners over 4 years, delivering one full letter grade increases for freshman in its programs.
Before Beagle Learning, Turner founded and directed multiple non-profit education endeavors, including Spokes, which organizes groups of college students to deliver project-based STEM programs to underserved high schools across the US - all while bicycling 4,000 miles from San Francisco to Washington, DC.
Turner received his BS in Physics from MIT. He advises multiple edtech startups in the US and Europe. When not thinking about technical products, he learns new board games, plays ultimate frisbee, and goes trail running.
