Stephanie Jarvis

Stephanie Jarvis is an Associate Teaching Professor and Chief Academic Officer in the Sports Law & Business Program. Ms. Jarvis is an alumna of Northwestern University and the University of Cincinnati, where she earned a Juris Doctorate degree. After a 13-year tenure as Associate Commissioner of the Horizon League, Ms. Jarvis transitioned to the Phoenix metro area in 2012. Since coming to the Valley, Ms. Jarvis has held several leadership roles in local sports organizations, including: General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer of the Fiesta Bowl; Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the 2016 College Football Playoff Championship Game; and Chief Operating Officer of the Phoenix Local Organizing Committee for the 2017 NCAA Final Four. She joined the ASU Sports Law & Business Program in August 2017 as a Lecturer. Additionally, she is the founder of SJarvis Consulting where she serves as a strategic consultant for the Arizona Sports and Entertainment Commission, outside counsel for the Cactus League, outside counsel for Teall Properties Group, led the team that helped secure the 2024 Phoenix Men’s Final Four and the 2026 Phoenix Women’s Final Four and is currently working to bring a Formula E-Prix Race to Phoenix. She is also an Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, serves as Co-Chair of the Sports Lawyer's Association USOPC and International Sub-Sport Committee and leads ASU SLB's research on athletic director backgrounds for the NCAA and Women Leaders in Sports.
