John Wang

John Wang has been teaching for over two decades at universities and community colleges in lecture and laboratory of basic chemistry, introductory chemistry, introductory chemistry online classes and laboratory, introductory organic chemistry and biochemistry, general chemistry I and II, organic chemistry I and II, and various mathematic courses including pre-college mathematics, technical math, elementary algebra, intermediate algebra, college algebra, calculus for Business and social science, and calculus II & III.  Effectively conveying chemistry knowledge and helping students to be success in their education and life is his professional goal.

In the years that Wang have been teaching, he have tried to increase students’ retention of the contents of the course and in the same time he strive to motivate students into developing a clear and logical thinking approach to natural science.  Wang believes that the greatest contribution he can make to a student is to provide plenty of opportunities to learn, rather than let a student be overwhelmed by an abundance of theorem and questions.  Finding inventive ways to encourage learning and respect a person’s efforts, and continually examining his strategies for transferring the knowledge to the students and for developing their thinking skills are always his goals.
