Laurel Bruce, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist who has worked in both public and private school settings, with a focus on earliest interventions for speech sound disorders. She earned her B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. at Arizona State University, and is a graduate of Barrett, The Honors College. Laurel is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Speech and Hearing Science at ASU. Her research interests include pediatric speech sound disorders, genetics of communication disorders, school-based service delivery, and the history of speech-language pathology.
